Birds that look like sentient mangos. They are considered a bird of paradise. They are pretty big, about the size of a early teenage child. Their meat is said to be juicy and tangy.
Diet
They primarily eat fruits from trees, these include things such as mangos, coconuts, bananas, pears, apples, etc.
Lifecycle
Their eggs look similar to that of an ordinary mango and it takes about 5-6 months to hatch.
Their hatchlings cant fly, and don’t have the hues of a mango, instead they have a greenish body with yellowish wings.
As a hatchling grows they will shed their feathers to grow new ones as well as becoming bigger. The underside of their wings has visible veins and a bright yellow plumage. Their main body is still primarily consisting of green feathers. The outer layer of the wings give off the look of a giant mango. They have brown legs and a brown head.
Behavior
To hide from predators they hang upside down with their feet and wrap themselves around with their wings, giving off the look of a giant mango.
They can also flap their wings on repeat to give off a mesmerizing effect due to the essence they absorb from mangoes.
